The Yamaha Tenere 700 and Yamaha Tenere Rally 2025 - 2026 Skid Plate by GARDA Equipment is a new, more enclosed aluminum protection plate designed for riders who need increased coverage during intensive off-road riding and long-distance adventure travel.
Compared to the standard GARDA skid plate, the new design provides significantly more coverage. Its shape is inspired by protection solutions used on rally-prepared motorcycles, providing extended protection for the engine, lower motorcycle components, and exhaust header. The design also complements the distinctive rally character of the latest Tenere models.
The skid plate is manufactured from 3 mm aluminum and TIG welded, providing high impact resistance while maintaining a reasonable overall weight. Despite its increased coverage, the complete skid plate weighs only 3.2 kg.
The more enclosed construction is designed to protect against rocks, ruts, loose terrain, and other obstacles encountered during demanding off-road riding. It is a solution for riders who want to take the capabilities of the Yamaha Tenere 700 and Tenere Rally far beyond paved roads.
The skid plate is available in two finish options. The first version features the distinctive ULTRAGRIP protective layer, which increases surface resistance to scratches and gives the skid plate a more aggressive rally-inspired appearance. The second version is supplied without ULTRAGRIP, featuring a clean black finish for riders who prefer a more minimalist look.
The skid plate is compatible with GARDA Equipment PRO, MAX, and LOW Crash Bar systems, allowing it to become part of a comprehensive protection setup designed for demanding adventure travel and off-road riding.
